Global home appliance giant LG Electronics has announced the launch of its premium SKS-branded luxury home appliance lineup at the upcoming Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2026, set to take place from February 17 to 19 in Orlando, Florida.
For the first time, LG will introduce a high-end laundry system under its SKS sub-brand, marking a strategic move to penetrate the North American custom home building market and the high-net-worth consumer segment.
First-Ever SKS Luxury Laundry Lineup
LG is set to debut the SKS WashCombo™, an all-in-one laundry solution that combines washing and drying in a single unit. The 5.8-cubic-foot capacity machine features AI DD™ (Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive) with AI Wash & Dry technology, which detects fabric softness and optimizes the washing motion accordingly. Equipped with a Dual Inverter Heat Pump, the system offers energy-efficient, low-temperature drying that protects fabric integrity and reduces wear and tear.
LG will also showcase a massive 9.0-cubic-foot Smart Electric Dryer featuring AI Sensor Dry, which automatically adjusts drying time by detecting moisture levels.
A key highlight of this series is the Full-Flat Design, offering a completely seamless and flush-fit installation that blends perfectly with high-end interior aesthetics. The appliances come with a 6.8-inch LCD tilting display, which automatically tilts upward when powered on for improved ergonomics and user accessibility.
AI-Driven Kitchen Innovations
In the kitchen segment, LG SKS will introduce the 36-inch Integrated Column Freezer and Column Refrigerator. These units feature a panel-ready design, allowing homeowners to install custom cabinet panels for a fully built-in look. Inside, the refrigerator houses a second-generation 60mm Grand Craft Ice® system that produces large, slow-melting ice spheres—ideal for premium whiskey enthusiasts.
The AI Ice Pro system learns user behavior patterns and predicts high-usage periods, automatically increasing ice production in advance. The interior cabinetry features premium metal and glass shelving to match the sophisticated luxury environment.
Another groundbreaking product is the SKS 36-inch Full-Flex Induction Cooktop. It introduces Power Shift Plus™ technology, which automatically adjusts heat levels when the cookware is slid forward or backward. The AI Water Boiling Alert sends real-time notifications via the LG ThinQ app when water reaches a rolling boil and can automatically lower the temperature to prevent spills.
