Eve Air Mobility, the Embraer-backed urban air mobility (UAM) company, has secured a letter of intent (LOI) from US-based start-up Future Flight Global for the purchase of up to 54 electric air taxis. The deal, announced on 18 June at the Paris Air Show, further expands Eve’s growing eVTOL aircraft orderbook, now exceeding 2,000 tentative orders.

Expanding eVTOL Operations in Brazil and the USA

Washington, DC-based Future Flight Global plans to deploy a fleet of Eve electric air taxis across Brazil and the USA, supporting the development of sustainable aviation and urban air mobility solutions.

Eve highlights that this agreement reinforces its diverse customer base, which includes global airlines, regional carriers, and UAM-focused companies like Future Flight Global.

Laying the Foundation for Future eVTOL Growth

Megha Bhatia, Eve’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated that this LOI sets the stage for substantial future orders as Future Flight Global scales its electric air taxi operations.

During the Paris Air Show, Eve also showcased a full-scale mock-up of its four-passenger, piloted eVTOL aircraft and confirmed Brazilian helicopter operator Revo as its launch customer.

With strong backing from Embraer, Eve continues to lead the electric air taxi market, advancing zero-emission aviation and next-generation urban mobility. The company’s eVTOL technology is poised to revolutionize short-haul air travel, offering eco-friendly, efficient transportation solutions.
