When I started high school in a village a long time ago, the first day I learned English, I felt completely blind and had no idea what I could do in my English class.

One of the bad things that happened to me while I was learning English in my second junior school was that my English teacher used to hit me in the head several times. This made me hate the teacher a lot because of how cruel he treated us.

I knew I was a good English student, but I was treated badly, and one day I had to tell my father about it. My father went right to get the teacher, but in the end, the teacher admitted that he had hurt me and asked for an apology. So, after I graduated from junior high school, I moved to the big Indonesian city of Medan to continue my education.

There, I was afraid because I assumed that all of my classmates would be able to follow the English class well because the majority of students in the city went to English classes to learn English in addition to taking English classes at school.

When compared to the number of courses offered in the village, Medan has a lot more English classes. However, contrary to what I had previously believed, I found very few students in my class who were able to comprehend the English lesson.

As a result, I gradually increased my courage and confidence because I believed we were all the same and had English weaknesses. I attempted to follow the lesson presented by our first English teacher in class by taking advantage of both their and my limited English proficiency.

Therefore, I am able to state that there are three primary requirements for successfully speaking English. The first thing you need to learn to speak English is to gain confidence from your lack of it. You should also be able to make positive use of your weaknesses because many people succeed at learning from them.

Your weaknesses could boost or lower your confidence. Because English is not our language, you need to be self-assured when you struggle to speak and use it, which is important for you in many aspects of your life.

The second requirement for being able to speak English fluently is having the confidence to speak, use, and communicate in the language. You will not be able to communicate in English if you lack the courage to speak up, the bravery to use English, and the confidence to do so.

You can’t avoid making mistakes while learning, but you can learn from them. If we are afraid of making mistakes,

we will never try something new and won’t succeed, so you should be brave to use the language no matter how many mistakes you make.

The third requirement is that you need to be creative and active in order to learn English. You can do this by using any resources you have at your disposal or in your immediate environment, such as reading English books, attending classes or courses,

trying distance and internet learning that is available to help you learn English, hiring a private tutor in person, via social media, or Skype,

setting aside time for practice, finding a friend or an American or British tourist to practice with learning real English,

making friends who really want to speak English is a great way UK rather than your native language will assist you in locating the results you seek in English, and using English will gradually become a habit.

Other examples include adorning your room or bedroom with pictures and using flashcards to constantly expose you to the words, phrases, and grammar you should be memorizing.

In conclusion, there are three essential but beneficial characteristics that you should possess in order to be able to speak English fluently. First, you should be confident that you will succeed;

second, you should be brave and should not be afraid to use the language with anyone who speaks English; and third, you should always be committed to achieving your goal of speaking English fluently.
