It handled a whopping $378 billion in trading volume over the past month, per DefiLlama data.<\/p>\n<p>However, it currently denotes its spot markets using Circle\u2019s USDC and Tether\u2019s USDT stablecoins, the two biggest stablecoins on the market.<\/p>\n<p>Hyperliquid\u2019s USDH will compete with USDC and USDT on the protocol, reducing its dependency on third-party stablecoins, and potentially capturing additional revenue.<\/p>\n<p>Validators will be able to vote on their preferred proposal after Hyperliquid\u2019s next network upgrade, a date for which has yet to be announced.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bidders vying to build Hyperliquid\u2019s stablecoin are swarming the protocol.
